Welcome to the Kobe Accounting Research Lab(Kobe ARL) which is managed by Professor Okabe, School of Business Adminstration, Kobe University.The Kobe ARL is an unofficial internet site for academic purposes.

This site was opened in 1995 when the big quake attacked Kobe city. Since then documents in the pages are updated bimonthly(originally monthly). The platform is located on an Unix machine which is administered by the Information Proccessing Center of Kobe University.

Main objective of the Kobe ARL is encourage and support researches in accounting for external reporting. Business researches in general and computer technologies are also of great interest for this site.

Syllabus and teaching materials are provided for students of some accounting classes in the Business School, Kobe University. This page also includes technical advices for beginner of internet and some technical manuals for Windows softwares which are developed by professor Okabe' classes.

This site has a collection of world wide links to accounting sites, business school sites, corporate sites, and government sites. A link to this site is permitted if it were not for commercial purposes.
